Efter de rosade succéerna med deluxe-utgåvorna av "Sgt Pepper" och "White Album" (2017 och 2018) är det nu dags för nästa välmatade utgåva med tidlös Beatles-magi. Den 8 augusti 1969 fotograferades bandet på ett övergångsställe på Abbey Road i nordvästra London, nära skivbolaget EMI:s studio. Den 26 september släpptes "Abbey Road" - skivan med bandets sista studioinspelningar. Och en av de stora rockklassikerna. I likhet med tidigare deluxe-utgåvor kan Universal bjuda på en fantastisk, spännande musikalisk djupdykning: hela albumet i en ny, fräsch stereomix av Giles Martin och 23 versioner och demos, varav de allra flesta är tidigare outgivna, däribland "The Long One" (Trial Edit & Mix) - d v s potpurriet som avslutar albumet - och en tidig version av "I Want You (She's So Heavy)". Super Deluxe-utgåvan innehåller tre CD, en Blu-ray och en 100-sidig bok med förord av Paul McCartney samt material om och bilder från inspelningarna. The 'Let It Be' album has been newly mixed by producer Giles Martin and engineer Sam Okell in stereo, 5.1 surround DTS, and Dolby Atmos. All the new 'Let It Be' releases feature the new stereo mix of the album as guided by the original "reproduced for disc" version by Phil Spector and sourced directly from the original session and rooftop performance eight-track tapes. The Super Deluxe collections also feature 27 previously unreleased session recordings, a four-track 'Let It Be' EP, and the never before released 14-track 'Get Back' stereo LP mix compiled by engineer Glyn Johns in May 1969.
